Trend 3: Performance Management – Become A Mentor (Each Jedi Knight Needs A Yoda)
Setting goals and providing feedback play a central role amongst all employee engagement ideas.
Many CEOs have also recognized this: More than half of the companies surveyed have already or are in the process of revising their performance management process. And with success! The corporate world is breaking new ground: Exchange of ideas and building strengths are the focal point.
Results show that re-structured companies achieve 20-30 percent more engagement and performance from their employees. This change can be seen especially for Millennials, who are very keen on feedback and coaching in the workplace. The key for this is that both CEO and manager are trained for their new role as mentors, in order to guide, not manage, their employees.
